We are looking for an inspiring and ambitious operations manager to join the management team at Kent Country Parks and be responsible for efficient delivery of services that provide excellent value and customer service for our visitors, whilst identifying improvements to our Parks, innovation to deliver positive environmental impacts and spark new opportunities for income generation.
The Parks Service delivers high quality visitor experiences, has achieved Green Flag Awards for 8 of its 9 parks, has invested £2 million in its play areas, infrastructure and accessibility as well as achieving 79% financial self-sustainability.
This role is an important part of our leadership team, coordinating and managing day to day operations across our park portfolio. You will lead a dedicated team and oversee all areas of delivery within the Parks Service; Ranger Services, Catering, Visitor Services, Education Services and Communications reporting to the Head of Service. You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to manage people, budgets, visitor attractions and have a passion for excellent customer service and quality accessible green spaces.

KCC operates a flexible working approach, with a hybrid or office/site and remote working. This successful candidate will be expected to regularly travel between sites and teams and there will be occasional evening meetings and weekend working.
